The method involves loading compressed data (DATA-C) in a web page (135), where the web page contains text data e.g. HTML text data, image data e.g. JPEGimage data, sound data e.g. MPEG-1 audio layer 3data, script data e.g. JavaScript(RTM: scripting programming language) and/or animation data. The loaded data is decompressed to produce decompressed data (DATA-D). A body of a HTTP response (300) with the decompressed data, is formed. The HTTP response is transmitted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a portable electronic device comprising a web server (2) a method for personalization of a portable electronic device.
