摘要

The method involves arranging a sample (3) of a material between two modules (1, 2) and generating heat at level of the module (1). Temperatures of the modules and temperature ambiance are measured at thermal equilibrium. Thermal conductivity of a material is determined according to a provided heating power, measured temperature and dimensions of the sample. A flow of fluid e.g. water, is generated symmetrical around an assembly (4) formed by the modules and the sample, where the modules are made of same material and are symmetrical to one another. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring thermal conductivity of a material.
