The method involves distributing an expandable material along elongated supports such as horizontal support (31) and vertical support (32), extending through a flow-through hole (2) in two transversal directions to be interlaced by forming a mesh (3) arranged through the hole. A reduced part of a surface of the hole is covered by the supports to form a free passing space (21) sufficient for the circulation of fluid i.e. cataphoresis fluid, before expansion of the material. An independent claim is also included for a device for closing a treating fluid passing flow-through hole.
