The cabinet (2) has an enclosure (6) for refrigerating and displaying food products, and an electrical refrigerating unit for refrigerating the enclosure. A luminous advertisement display unit has a front luminous advertisement panel (9) and two side luminous advertisement panels (10) carried by a refrigerating container (4), and a top luminous advertisement panel (11) carried by an arm (8). The top panel has a luminous display screen e.g. LCD type video screen, to diffuse an advertising message e.g. video message. Each side panel has a peripheral frame (64) made of heat conducting material.
