The installation has banknote distributing automation systems (1-6) for receiving securized contents (7), where the systems are accessible from outside of a capped peripheral casing (9) by users and at inside for handling and maintenance operations of the contents. A handling robot (12) accesses the contents using an access unit in the casing. The robot has a support unit for supporting the contents, a unit for loading/unloading the contents, and another unit for maintaining the contents. A transfer unit allows the robot to transfer the contents between the systems.
