Tannin composition, useful for in vitro humification and water treatment to maintain/culture living organisms in aquarium, comprises pyrogallic tannins, catechin tannins, ellagic tannins and gallic tannins

Tannin composition comprises: at least 20 mass% of pyrogallic tannins and 15 mass% of catechin tannins; and ellagic tannins and gallic tannins, where the tannins are introduced in the form of a combination of tanning and/or tanning raw plant material extracts from at least five different plant species. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for in vitro humification comprising reconstitution of humic substances by modifying microbial activity for at least two weeks in aerobic or anaerobic medium, optionally stirred, a non-sterile aqueous solution containing at least 1 mass% of a mixture of tanning plant extracts from two types of species containing pyrogallic and catechin tannins; and (2) a process of water treatment, for the maintenance or culturing living organisms in aquarium, for aquaculture, preferably for hydroponics, which is achieved by introducing at least 5 mg/l (expressed as dry matter) of the composition.
