The post (10) has a stiffener (20) and a liner (30) placed one against another and assembled by welding points. Two inner metallic reinforcements are located with respect to one another. The reinforcements are fixed on inner surfaces of the stiffener and the liner, respectively, where the stiffener and the liner with respective reinforcements are formed together by embossing via the welding points after heating to a predetermined temperature. The stiffener and its reinforcement are integrated between them before embossing by the welding points. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a window post.
