The implant has a spindle anchored by impaction in a bone area of a femur, and for fixing a connection head with a hip. The spindle is provided with a coating comprising a rough metallic layer (10) and a bio-active layer (11) based on hydroxyapatite, where thickness of the bio-active layer decreases from a proximal upper part (1b) to a distal part of the spindle. The bio-active layer is realized by depositing the hydroxyapatite through a plasma torch. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a femoral implant.
