The device has a bottle gripping unit (5) associated to a transfer unit to displace the bottles, where the unit (5) sets the bottles in superposed layers in a storage space in successive operations or remove by layers in a storage space. The transfer unit is presented in a form of horizontal arm (40) whose one end is mounted in a pivoting manner, along a vertical axis at top of a vertical column (3) that is mounted slidingly in a vertical manner in a portal frame (2). The unit (5) is connected to a free end (43) of the arm across a strap (43) of a strap winch (41).
