The applicator (10) has a bowl (14) passing from a rest position to a product application position, under effect of solicitation locally exerted on a free edge (22) of a peripheral lateral wall (18) of the bowl, where the applicator is in form of spoon and made by molding of synthetic material. The wall extends on 75 percentages of circumference of a central internal portion (16) i.e. plate, of the bowl in the rest position, where the portion forms a flat base. A part of the wall is deployed with respect to the portion in the direction of leveling of the portion, in the application position. The product is in the compressed form, melt form or in the form of paste, solid, viscous, foam or cream. The wall is made of flexible material, and the internal portion is made of rigid distinct material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an assembly for packaging and applying product, comprising a product storage container and an applicator (2) a make-up process using an applicator.
