The method involves vertically deploying a flexible conduit equipped with a guiding unit and a double locking system (23). The guiding unit is engaged with a receptacle (32) of a connection assembly (30) arranged on an upper part of a rigid riser conduit. A tilting is operated along a predetermined curve of the flexible conduit till alignment of a flared conical section (21) and a truncated part (41) of the flexible conduit. The flexible conduit is pulled till engagement of the conical section and the truncated part with the connection assembly.
