The device (1) has a nozzle for blowing air, and a sonotrode i.e. acoustic amplifier, defining an ejection surface (4) for ejecting particles of cosmetic product. The ejection surface is placed in front of the nozzle so that the ejected particles are carried by the air stream from the nozzle. The surface is extended from the nozzle at a distance of 2 millimeters along a longitudinal axis of the device. The sonotrode extends towards front by a tapered portion connected to cylindrical section of the axis. The nozzle includes a tubular body for guiding the blown air. An independent claim is also included for a method for cosmetic treatment of human keratinous materials such as skin or hairs.
