The device (1) has a master animator (100) connected to light sources (101-103) and for switching-on and/or switching-off the light sources to create unitary light effects. Two slave animators (110, 120) are connected to light sources (111-113, 121-123) for sequence switching-on and/or switching-off the light sources (111-113, 121-123) to create unitary light effects. The master animator controls the slave animators in order to synchronize together the unitary light effects, where juxtaposition of the unitary light effects allows obtaining an entire light effect. An independent claim is also included for a method for executing a light effect in an animation device.
