The seat i.e. third row seat (3) has a backrest (31) and a base (32), and a disk type spare wheel (7) and normal sized spare wheel, situated under the base and attached to the seat. Length of cushion of the base is less than a diameter of the wheels. Thickness of the base is less than thickness of the wheels when the seat is in retracted position. Fastener e.g. strap, of the wheels is situated under the base and integrated to the base. Pivoting axle (34) pivots around a front lower part of the base. The fastener and the wheels are fixed to a side of a metal plate (33). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor vehicle, comprising a floor pan (2) a method for retracting a seat of a motor vehicle.
