The device (10) has a transversal maintaining unit maintaining one of flat windscreen wiper blades (12) in a case (22). The maintaining unit has a longitudinal vertical front wall (26) cooperated with a transversal front surface of a link connector (20) of the blade, and a rib (32) cooperated with a transversal rear surface of a longitudinal end of a supporting frame (14) of the blade. Another windscreen wiper blade is received by the device such that the blades received by the device are folded vertically. The maintaining unit is associated to each blade.
