The bolt (10) has a prismatic free end (12) comprising a sliding surface (18) inclined with respect a bearing surface (16) carried against an outer edge of a strike plate. A contact body i.e. pivoting element (38), is mounted inside the free end (12) and protrudes from the surface (18), where element is made of single piece of plastic material. The element is pivotingly mounted inside the free end so as to dampen an impact of the surface (18) against the outer edge, while a helical spring maintains the element in projection from the surface (18).
