The unit (12) has two printing groups (18), each comprising a cylinder motor (56) mechanically and rotatively coupled to a plate bearing cylinder (22) and to a blanket bearing cylinder (20) for rotationally driving the cylinders. The group includes an ink motor (58) mechanically and rotatively coupled to a motorized inking roller (40), for rotationally driving the roller independent of the cylinders. Motorized dampening roller (52) is mechanically coupled in rotation to the motor (56) that rotatively dampening drives the roller together with the cylinders.
