The device (1) has a reading unit (8) for reading size of an underwater vision article and provided with size indicative information zones (9, 10). The zones are associated with a combination of marking zones of two markers such that the article size adapted to an individual is directly read when the device is positioned on a face of the individual. The reading of the size is carried out by determining the size indicative information zones corresponding to the combination of marking zones that mark respective positions of external and internal edges of the individual face.
