The reservoir has a reinforcement filament winding (3) on outer surface of casing. The winding has a polar layer (13) with reinforcement resin fibers placed with respect to an axial direction of the casing along an angle in a range of plus or minus 15 to plus or minus 33 degrees. The winding has a circumferential layer with fibers placed relative to the direction along an angle in a range of plus or minus 87 to plus or minus 93 degrees. A middle layer (33) has reinforcement fibers arranged relative to the direction along an angle in a range of plus or minus 51 to plus or minus 59 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pressurized gas reservoir.
