The transmission (31) has two step-down ratios engaged by an actuator, and a dead center integrating an electric machine (10) with drive wheels of a hybrid vehicle, where the electric machine is directly connected to a parallel hollow input shaft (20). The step-down ratios are engaged by axial sliding of a jaw clutch sleeve (32) that integrates free receiving pinions (26, 30) with a parallel intermediate shaft (22), where the free pinions form a gear pair with fixed engine pinions (24, 28) fixed on the parallel shaft (20).
