The backpack has an outer shell (2), a dorsal part (9) and two inflatable compartments (3). The dorsal part is rolled on itself after opening the backpack and inflatable bladders are inserted in the compartments for transforming backpack into a buoyant apparatus. A semi rigid outer shell made of foam has closed cells made of polyethylene reinforced with carbon or fiber or polyethylene. The shell forms a central part of a fishing buoy for signaling, and the floatability of the buoy is assured by a foam board associated to the compartments.
