Tyrosinase enzyme inhibitor, which is developed from vitisin and/or its derivative, where the derivative is glycosides and/or esters of vitisin, is new. An independent claim is included for the use of the inhibitor in cosmetic and food composition having an effect of skin whitening and/or mitigation of old age tasks.
