The coupler (10) has a printed circuit board (18) carried by a carriage (17) and provided with electrical metallic strips (21). The strips are positioned opposite to respective metallic planes of the carriage to assure a ground plane role, so that the carriage and the board form a printed line e.g. stripline, connected to a primary source of a Luneberg lens antenna. The strips are penetrated in a linear wave guide (11) by a longitudinal slot (15) to form coupling plungers between the wave guide and the line. The wave guide is filled with low-loss dielectrics e.g. Teflon(RTM: PTFE).
