The method involves fixing ventilator pressure at a service pressure (Psv) equal to differential threshold pressure (PDs). A current value (Qcr) of air flow (Q) of the ventilator is measured, and air flow stabilization is regulated around an air flow set point value, where the value is situated on an air flow/pressure response curve of an installation in a functioning pressure range. An air flow derivative is examined cyclically to bring a modification to an air flow set point value (Qcs), in order to reduce the derivative, in case of detection of the derivative. An independent claim is also included for a ventilation group.
