Ultrasound anemometer i.e. wind sensor, for measuring e.g. speed of wind, has upper body whose lower surface is spaced from upper surface of lower body by column, where each transducer of upper body communicates with adjacent transducers
The anemometer (1) has an upper body (2) i.e. upper case, with a lower surface spaced from an upper surface of a lower body (3) by a central cylindrical column (4) for defining a measurement surface (E). The upper body integrates four electro-acoustic transducers (5), where each transducer communicates laterally with two adjacent transducers. Transmitting-receiving faces (5') of transducers are oriented in a direction of the upper surface that forms a wave reflector. The transducers are connected to electronic units (6) to measure circulation of air flow passing in the space. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing an ultrasound anemometer.
