The oven e.g. domestic cooking oven (1), has a cooking chamber i.e. muffle (2), comprising an opening (26) in a front surface (3) that is closed by a door (4). The chamber has air inlet units i.e. air leakage inlet orifices (42, 43), and an air outlet unit arranged in an upper and rear walls (2b, 2c) of the chamber. The chamber is enclosed in a chamber (46) setting under pressure by a ventilation device (10), where the pressure is higher than the pressure inside the cooking chamber. A part of the pressurized air of the chamber (46) is introduced in the cooking chamber by the air inlet units.
