The method involves progressive reheating of a musical instrument e.g. saxophone, or a metallic part i.e. copper part, of the musical instrument till attaining red, at temperature ranging from 600 to 800 degree Celsius. The musical instrument or the metallic part of the musical instrument is allowed to be cooled freely at ambient temperature or to be slightly cooled in a furnace or an adiabatic chamber at high temperature.
