The assembly has a bipolar connector (1') and another bipolar connector (1) comprising contact units i.e. metallic contact blades, at a level of fitting parts (2, 3) and/or a separator. The contact units electrically connect terminals (61-64) of a main cable to drift cables (65) during fitting of the fitting parts by a fitting screw. A comb shaped pin (40) is engaged in openings of the separator so as to realize mechanical assembly of the connectors to form a four-core connector. Elastic return units are in the form of a tube made of elastic material e.g. elastomer.
