Rebound sports training panel having a series of deflecting/rebound projections on the exterior surface of the panel

A portable rebound or deflecting sports training apparatus is disclosed which includes a rebound panel which comprises a series of projections 2502 (e.g. points or ridges), separated by troughs 2503, against which in use a ball (e.g. football) maybe directed for rebounding or deflecting therefrom. The projections maybe spaced apart by a distance 2504 which allows a football to engage at least one projection when it bounces/deflects off the panel. A support structure (805-808,Fig.8) is adapted to hold the panel in a first, operational condition in which the panel is held generally upright; the panel and the support structure having a second, transport or storage configuration relative to each other such that the panel and support structure lie flat relative to each other in a direction transverse to the rebound panel such that the device occupies less space. An assembly kit for the apparatus is also disclosed.
