Selecting attributes of resources of a system with the highest degree of reliability where conflict exists between plural attributes as to the same resources

An information processing apparatus, program and method for managing attribute information as to resources constituting a system which may comprise a federated configuration management database (CMDB). The apparatus comprising an acquisition unit 101 which obtains a plurality of attribute information as to the same resources and a unit 103 which calculates a degree of reliability of each of the plurality of attribute information when a contradiction exists between the plurality of attribute information which sets the attribute information which has the highest degree of reliability as attribute information for the resources. The contradiction may be determined by a matching execution unit 102 which then requests the relationship evaluation unit 103 assess the reliability of the conflicting attributes.
