PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercooling test device and a method of a supercooling test capable of creating a state that the liquid included in a test piece is supercooled, and reproducing a situation that a phase of the liquid is changed from the supercooling state to solid and its volume is abruptly expanded.;SOLUTION: This supercooling test device includes a test tank 2 capable of receiving the test piece W, a cooling part 6 cooling the inside of the test tank 2 with a cooling pattern capable of bringing the liquid included in the test piece W received in the test tank 2 into a supercooling state, and a phase change generating device 11 changing the phase of the liquid in the supercooling state included in the test piece W received in the test tank 2 to a solid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
