ACCESS RESTRICTED FILE AND RESTRICTED FILE CREATING APPARATUS

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access restricted file and an apparatus for creating the access restricted file, which make it possible for a general-purpose information processing apparatus to request a management server to determine whether the access right is present or absent. PSOLUTION: A restricted file 40 is constructed including encrypted data 41, a header 42 and a self-extracting application 43. The header includes confirming destination information (address information) that represents the management server that confirms a presence or absence of the access right in regard to the operation (browsing, page turning, printing, changing, duplication) for decoding of the encrypted data of the restricted file and decoded data. The self-extracting application works with the restricted file self-extracting upon the restricted file being double-clicked in any information processing device, obtains, installs and initiates a program for processing for confirming an access right to the management server represented by the confirming destination information within the header, and thereafter causes the program to perform decoding and monitor the decoded data.
