PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system which is capable of interconnecting with a commercial power system mainly, supplies power to a load and achieves self-sustaining even when the commercial power system is not used by an accident and an emergency. PSOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generation system includes a solar cell 51, a storage battery 57 and an independent power generator 56 and is capable of interconnecting with the commercial power system 54. When the commercial power system 54 is not capable of being used by a blackout or the like, power supply to the load is possible by power by the solar cell 51, by power by the independent power generator 56, and by power stored in the storage battery 57 in advance. Power loss of the load is improved by being provided with a phase-advanced capacitor 62 and an auxiliary charge of midnight power to the storage battery 57 is possible by a charge and discharge control panel 58.
