PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint member for forming an inclined corner part between a first handrail member provided and inclined in front of outside angle and reentrant angle and a second handrail member provided and inclined beyond the outside angle and the reentrant angle, and to provide a construction method for the corner part of the handrail.;SOLUTION: In this construction method for the corner part of the handrail, a first connection piece 5 of the joint member 1 is first fixed, a joint body 3 is heated up to such temperature that deforms it and then is twisted and deformed around a shaft axis 10 of the first connection piece 5, and the center 24a of a second plane part 24 of the joint body 3 is raised by only height H. Consequently, the second plane part 24 being at a position E1 before the joint body 3 is twisted and deformed is displaced up to a position E2. Next, the joint body 3 is twisted and deformed around a shaft axis 11 of a second connection piece 7, and the other end part 6 of the joint body 3 is rotated from the position E2 to a position E3. An angle θ at which the other end part 6 of the joint body 3 rotates centered on the shaft axis 11 of the second connection piece 7 agrees with an inclination angle θ of the handrail member 101.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
