PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for environmentally friendly melting and refining a glass melt for crystallizable glass composed of lithium aluminum silicate (LAS) glass ceramic, wherein the number of bubbles in the glass and in the ceramic product is small enough, and economical efficiency is secured by using a refining agent in a suitable amount. PSOLUTION: The method for environmentally friendly melting and refining the glass melt for the crystallizable glass composed of lithium aluminum silicate (LAS) glass ceramic, comprises: a step for preparing a glass batch wherein a lithium aluminum silicate (LAS) glass system with addition of 0.1 to 0.6 wt.% of tin oxide as main refining agent is used as a base material without using arsenic oxide and/or antimony oxide; a step for designing the raw material mixture for the glass batch so that the proportion of the quartz sand raw material that is usually used for introducing the glass component SiOSB2/SBis less than 40% by weight, preferably, less than 15% by weight, and particularly preferably less than 5% by weight; and a step for refining the glass melt at a temperature of 1,600C and preferably 1,650C.
