PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a useless copying process to substantially improve a processing efficiency of a frame interpolation process, and to keep a memory consumption to a minimum. PSOLUTION: A dynamic image frame interpolation processing apparatus comprises: a shared memory 3 capable of keeping an input frame and an intermediate frame in a mixed state; an input process 4 for storing an input frame input by the predetermined frame rate together with a time stamp expressing a reproducing time of each input frame to the shared memory 3; a frame interpolation process 5 for creating the intermediate frame from the preceding input frame and the succeeding input frame stored in the shared memory 3, and storing the created intermediate frame to the shared memory 3 together with the intermediate time stamp obtained from the time stamp of the anteroposterior input frame; and a display process 6 for sequentially outputting the input frame and the intermediate frame stored in the shared memory 3 at the timing determined on the basis of the time stamp of each frame.
