PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a thermal barrier coating which has excellent high temperature stability rather than a yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and has both of high toughness and low thermal conductivity, a thermal barrier coating having a ceramic layer formed using the material for the thermal barrier coating and having excellent heat cycle durability, and a member for a turbine and a gas turbine provided with the thermal barrier coating.;SOLUTION: The material for the thermal barrier coating mainly contains a compound expressed by composition formula (1): Ln(x+y-3xy)TixTaxZr(1-3x)(1-y)O(2+1.5xy-0.5y)(where, Ln expresses one or not less than two kinds of elements selected from a group of Y, Sm, Yb and Nd, 0.05x0.25 and 0y0.15).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
