PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a water resistant aluminum pigment dispersion which prevents whitening when being blended with a water-based coating or aqueous ink and is excellent in metal glossiness.;SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the water resistant aluminum pigment dispersion includes the steps of: (a) making a composite pigment material having a structure where a resin layer for peeling and an aluminum layer are laminated alternately on a sheet substrate plane; (b) peeling the sheet substrate from the composite pigment material to make a composite pigment; and (c) breaking the composite pigment to make an aluminum pigment dispersion, wherein at least either the process (b) or the process (c) is carried out in an organic solvent to which phosphorus surfactant is added.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
