OUTER SKIN FORMING METHOD FOR BASE ISOLATED STRUCTURE, AND BASE ISOLATED STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer skin forming method for a base isolated structure that can form an outer skin excellent in internal protection performance on the outer periphery of a base isolated structure body in a short period of time and with high productivity.;SOLUTION: A hard layer 2a and a non-vulcanized soft layer are alternately laminated so as to make a laminated body. The laminated body is vulcanized to make it as a base isolated structure body 2. Rubber-containing liquid is applied to the outer peripheral face of the base isolated structure body 2 while the base isolated structure body 2 has remaining heat due to vulcanization. By this, the rubber-containing liquid is dried by the remaining heat. An outer skin 3 is formed on the outer peripheral face of the base isolated structure body 2 so as to make it as a base isolated structure 1. It is preferable that the rubber-containing liquid contains at least one of butyl rubber and halogenated butyl rubber, and a layered clay mineral filler.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
