PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique effective for properly deciding a collision of a vehicle by detecting displacement information on a vehicle constituting member by using electromagnetic waves.;SOLUTION: This vehicle collision detection system includes a signal processing part for performing a signal processing by receiving an output signal outputted from a side collision sensor and a control device 300. The control device 300 includes first deciding parts 301 and 302 for deciding the presence or absence of data validity of each output signal based on a secular change of the output signal corresponding to each of two kinds of frequencies of output signals outputted from the side collision sensor driven by a transmission part, second deciding parts 303 and 304 for deciding the collision of the vehicle by the displacement information on the vehicle door constituting member based on the output signal decided to have the data validity from the decision results of the first deciding parts 301 and 302, and a sensor determination constituting part 305 for evaluating a collision event of the vehicle based on the decision results of the first deciding parts 301 and 302 and the second deciding parts 303 and 304.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
