PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid fuel having a stable pyrophoricity with organic sludge as a raw material.;SOLUTION: When a dried matter of an organic sludge is carbonized in a carbonization furnace to produce a carbide as a solid fuel, the carbide discharged from the carbonization furnace is retained for a predetermined time under a predetermined temperature condition while ventilating a gas with a predetermined concentration of oxygen, at least one of an amount of the oxygen consumed during it and an increase rate of the temperature of the carbide is measured, and at least one of carbonization temperature and carbonization time in the carbonization furnace is regulated so that this measurement is not more than a safety standard value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
