PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast-iron member with a spray deposit film which is capable of consistently enhancing the adhesiveness to an aluminum alloy-made cylinder block on an interface with each other, and applicable to a cast-iron made cylinder liner or the like to be used for cast-in by an aluminum alloy or the like for enhancing the heat conductivity efficiency.;SOLUTION: The cast-iron member with the cast-in spray deposit film is composed of the cast-iron member having a composition containing, by weight, 3.2-4.4% carbon, 0.8-2.6% silicon, 0.1-2.4% manganese, 0.001-0.2% sulfur, 0.01-0.6% phosphor and the balance iron with inevitable impurities, wherein the thermal spraying coating film of the thickness of 5-160 μm is formed on the surface of the cast-iron member, and the surface roughness Ra of a thermal-sprayed surface after forming the spray deposit film is set to be 4-170 μm, and the adhesiveness to an aluminum matrix and the heat conductivity are enhanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
