DEAD LOCK OF DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead lock of a door, wherein a collision noise can be absorbed even when front and rear engaging surfaces of a guide slot of a dead bolt collide respectively with an outer surface of a lock case-side fixed shaft (guide shaft) in unlocking and locking positions of the dead bolt.;SOLUTION: The dead lock of the door is equipped with the dead bolt which advances and recedes to the unlocking and locking positions via the horizontal guide slot engaged with the fixed shaft horizontally and pivotally installed in the lock case. The fixed shaft includes a shaft body which is molded from a metal, and a tubular member for absorbing an impact noise which is externally suitable for the shaft body and molded from a resin. The front and rear locking surfaces of the horizontal guide slot of the dead bolt collide respectively with the outer surface of the tubular member for absorbing the impact noise in the unlocking and locking positions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
