PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make stock of each bookstore proper in consideration of wide-area sales information and circumstances of the individual bookstore.;SOLUTION: A control means of this bookstore information central management system updates a bookstore-classified sales results database and a bookstore-classified stock database based on data received from each bookstore system, updates a sales order table database based on the bookstore-classified sales results database, extracts the number of stocked books of a name ID of a bookstore ID from the bookstore-classified stock database, extracts a commodity attribute ID of the name ID, extracts sales order table specification information, first/second reference order, and the first/second proper number of the stocked books corresponding to the commodity attribute ID from an arithmetic system setting table of the bookstore ID of a bookstore-classified arithmetic system setting table database, extracts order of the name ID of a specified sales order table when the number of the stocked books is smaller than the first proper number of the stocked books, setting a number insufficient for the first proper number of the stocked books as the recommended number of books to be ordered of the name ID when the order is higher than the first reference order, setting a number insufficient for the second proper number of the stocked books as the recommended number of the books to be ordered of the name ID when the order is lower than the first reference order and higher than the second reference order, and transmits the name ID-classified recommended number of the books to be ordered to the bookstore system of the bookstore ID.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
