PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke sensor sensitivity inspection method and a smoke sensor sensitivity inspection apparatus, capable of easily inspecting the sensitivity of the smoke sensor with high precision and capable of manufacturing the smoke sensor of high reliability with good productivity.;SOLUTION: A smoke particle detecting region 13 is irradiated with light from a light emitting element 11 and the light scattered by smoke particles is detected in a smoke particle detecting region 13 by a light detecting element 12 to inspect the sensitivity of the smoke sensor 1 for detecting smoke. The reflecting wire material 51, which is arranged so as to extend in the direction crossing a plane PS containing the optical axis Lx1 of a light irradiation region 11r where the smoke particle detecting region 13 is irradiated with light by the light emitting element 11 and the optical axis Lx2 of a light detecting region 12r where the scattered light is detected by the light detecting element 12, is moved inside a superposed optical region 17 where the light irradiation region 11r and the light detecting region 12r are superposed one upon another to constitute the plane PS and the light, which is emitted to the reflecting wire material 51 from the light emitting element 11 to be scattered by the reflecting wire material 51, is detected by the light detecting element 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
