MEDICAL IMAGING DISPLAY SYSTEM, OBSERVATION APPARATUS AND MEDICAL IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a suitable image which an observer wants to see from a group of medical images, and display it. PSOLUTION: Thumbnail image data is formed according to medical image data in a modality apparatus 1 creating medical image data, and the thumbnail image data is connected with the identification information of medical image data and transmitted to an observation apparatus 2 connected through a network 3. Next, the thumbnail image data received on the observation apparatus 2 are classified in a plurality of ranks and displayed in stages. Next, the identification information of medical image data according to the thumbnail image selected on a window is transmitted to the modality apparatus 1 as acquisition request information.
