PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thin composite film comprising a nano-sheet and a polymer through a self-organization reaction irrespective of the hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity of the surface of a substrate and a thin composite film comprising a nano-sheet and a polymer.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing the thin composite film comprising the nano-sheet and the polymer, after a positive charge layer is formed, a ruthenium oxide nano-sheet is adsorbed to the positive charge layer through the self-organization reaction to form the thin composite film comprising the nano-sheet and the polymer.
