METHOD FOR EVALUATING PSYCHIATRIC DISORDER BY USING Clspn GENE EXPRESSION AS INDEX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which psychiatric disorder can readily and accurately be inspected by using a new marker gene, and to provide a method by which a causative factor of the psychiatric disorder and a component of a therapeutic agent are identified by using the expression of the marker gene as an index.;SOLUTION: The method for evaluating psychiatric disorder includes measuring the expression of a Clspn gene in a biosample isolated from a subject, and evaluating the subject in the state of the psychiatric disorder when the expression of the gene is abnormal. The method for identifying a factor making the expression of the Clspn gene abnormal as the causative factor, and the method for identifying a material ameliorating the abnormality of the expression of the Clspn gene as a component of a remedy of the psychiatric disorder are also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
