PSOLUTION: A gas turbine engine 10 includes: a combustor 20 having the first inner region 21 in which the first fuel is burned; a turbine 50 receiving products of at least the combustion of the first fuel; a transition zone 43 having the second inner region 41 in which the second fuel and the products of the combustion of the first fuel are burned; a plurality of fuel injectors 60 configured to supply the second fuel to the second inner region in any one of a single axial direction, a plurality of axial direction, a single axial circumferential direction and a plurality of axial circumferential direction; a compressor 30 for supplying air to the first and second inner regions 21, 41 for the combustion therein; and a control system configured to control the relative amount of the air to the first and second inner regions 21, 41 and the relative amount of the first and second fuel supplied from the fuel circuit 70 to the first and second inner regions 21, 41.
