PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member for a rail enabling attachment of a pair of lip members to a lower rail to be completely parallel with each other in a short time, and a method of attaching the cover member for the rail to the lower rail.;SOLUTION: The cover member for the rail includes: a pair of attaching parts 34A1 respectively attached to both side parts of the upper part of the lower rail 30; a pair of lip parts 34A2 projected in the mutually approaching direction from the inside edge parts of the pair of attaching parts; a removal part 34A3 located between the pair of lip parts; and a pair of fragile connecting parts 34A4 connecting the inside edge parts of the pair of lip parts to both side edge parts of the removal part respectively, and having small mechanical strength compared with the lip part and the removal part and parallel with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
